Mirror of The Void - Ephemeral Mirage
A little over a year has passed since the premiere of the debut album Mirror of the Void, but it seems that the guys liked the idea of playing together, because Diabolizer, Bloodwhip and Necheshetrion are back with a new release. This time it is a seventeen-minute EP, which is the reason for my undisguised dissatisfaction. Mainly because these recordings are a big step forward, a small leap, you could say. That is why I feel a huge dissatisfaction, I will say it right away. These four compositions are a clear development of the style from "Metaphysical Rebellion". However, while back then the gentlemen experimented a little with black metal, here they seem to have calmed down and started to pour their thoughts into sounds without any shyness or limitations. There is less of the said black metal on these recordings, and when it does appear, it is in an extremely raw version. On the other hand, there are more ambient, "post metal" and industrial elements
